Despite seeing what was happening in China the Trump administration has blocked scientists from speaking to the press, influenced the CDC to relax health standards resulting in over 230,000 dead Americans, probably over 200,000 more than countries like South Korea or New Zealand when adjusted for population had we followed policies as they did. He has not only shown a lack of leadership but instead has undermined serious efforts to control the virus.
