Trump has eroded U.S. leadership in the world
With the Trump administration withdrawing from the Paris Accord, the JCPOA (Iran nuclear deal), INF (Intermediate Nuclear Forces agreement with Russia), WHO (World Health Organization), moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and recognizing the Golan Heights both against international law, among other actions, the United States has lost the support and respect of its allies, especially its European allies. European countries are now looking at military strategies more independent of the U.S. and NATO, currency and trade transactions independent of the U.S. and global problem solving, from dealing with the Coronavirus to trade and global warming, independently of the U.S.
